Audience Review - Much Ado About Nothing
Gill and David Tomlinson October 17, 2010

"This Much Ado is one of the best shows we have seen at the Lantern. The direction is excellent and makes full use of the theatre. It is rare to find an amateur company able to master the language of Shakespeare but the Dilys Guite Players succeed in making it light, entertaining and easily understood."

This is one of the great comedy plays by William Shakespeare. The play revolves around two pairs of lovers, Beatrice and Benedick and Claudio and Hero.

The main plot of the play revolves around obstacles to the union of the two young lovers - Claudio and Hero. The love-hate relationship of Beatrice and Benedick features the "merry war" of the sexes. Benedick thinks he hates Beatrice but really loves her and Beatrice who thinks she hates Benedick but really loves him...

With a fantastic cast, many of whom have appeared at the Crucible, this promises to be a great nights entertainment.  Tickets are starting to sell quickly so don't be dissappointed!
